We have a lot to be thankful for in spite of the damage that we encountered. There was no loss of life and we still have our sense of humour.
Our SEXTON Jack Garton will be able to provide an update on the cemetery damage and perhaps Elizabeth and Adam can add some commentary about how this damage can be addressed from the governmental perspective. I would be surprised if there is not some fund that is able to deal with this sort of natural calamity.
It is certainly worth pursuing. Sorry that I am in Ottawa for that meeting date but I will be back in time for the Mayne Island town hall meeting so will take it up then if not next Friday.
I am so impressed with the Galianders and the mutual respect and aid that everyone was so generous with during that storm.
