JUDY DOYLE (née Atwood) - Judith Anne Lysons Doyle.  October 27, 1931 -- March 2, 2019.

Judy has joined her beloved husband Alex in paradise.

They were true soul mates since their teens. Survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Lynn (Jim), Sandy, Karen (Chris) and by her brother Philip.

Judy was very intelligent and accomplished (affectionately crowned by her family as the Queen of Trivial Pursuit).

In addition to raising 3 daughters, she had a successful career in education, becoming the first female secondary school VP in Burnaby and publishing a Social Studies text book co-authored with Alex.

Judy was an avid reader and enjoyed volunteering at her church, skiing, hiking, world travel, photography, music, and ice dancing with the love of her life. Her loving and patient care of Alex during his long illness was an inspiration to her family.

Our thanks to all those who helped and supported Judy during her long illness, especially Susan Stobbs, Jennifer Nowak, and Juliette Proom and for the wonderful care provided by Nanaimo Kiwanis Lodge 3rd Floor and Recreation staff.

Celebration of Life: 3PM Friday April 26, St. Mary's Anglican Church, Nanoose Bay. Interment at Sacred Heart Church and Columbarium, Calgary.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nanaimo Kiwanis LODGE - Recreation program:
