What is it like?
St. Margaret of Scotland is a community resource. We are here to add to the lifestyle and experiences of Galiano. We gather every Sunday and on special occasions to celebrate our togetherness without a lot of fuss.
What about my kids?
Children of all ages are welcome. We also welcome four footed members who are reasonably behaved. We are often referred to as St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church and Kennel Club. We are very capable of creating interesting participation for the children if we have a bit of advance notice.
Where do I park?
Lots of on street parking in front of the church and behind the church in a parking area.
What do I wear?
Whatever makes you feel comfortable and suitable for a mixed group of folk. This is not a stuffy place. In fact, we welcome small pets as valid additions to our worship space. That is why we are often referred to as St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church and Kennel Club.
How can I get connected?
The Active Page is the Galiano newsletter that carries our advertising and a monthly column by our rector. We are very prominently located at 300 Burrill Avenue across from the Galiano Courier offices.
The St. Margaret of Scotland FOOD BANK:
This is one of our very important ministries which we support from October through to the end of May each year. Our church community gathering space is where the food bank has the resources. Our two stalwarts, Ralph Griffiths and Hans (hanskrishna von hagen), are on point for food bank days with a little bit of help from other parishioners. The Active Page monthly newsletter will have details if changes are required.
